Damion Winston Foster, 37, of North Lauderdale, FL is now at peace, he went home to the Lord on May 21, 2014. Damion was born February 27, 1977 in Kingston, Jamaica to Winston and Marcia Foster. During his 1st year at Excelsior High School, Damion migrated to South Florida with his mother and sister, where he completed his studies. Damion was an artistic, innovative and industrious being, he loved to draw and his art was a true reflection of his feelings and emotions. He was a people's advocate and was not afraid to stand on the front line to protect others. He obtained a degree in business administration and later became a certified electrical technician. Damion loved his family and the Lord. He is survived by his son, Damonte Foster; his mother, Marcia; his father, Winston; his grandmother, Iris; his grandfather, Clifton Grant; his sister, Sherian; his brother, David; 2 step brothers; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends that love and miss him. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 P.M. on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that Expressions of Sympathy be made to which is a Trust Fund for Damonte's education.
