Constance R. Gonzalez, 68, of Locust Grove, GA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Constance was born October 10, 1944 in Bronx, NY as one of two children to Samuel and Rose Harrison. In 1965 Connie moved from the Bronx out to Long Island. Connie and Ralph met as teenagers who never would have dreamed that many years later they would fall in love. On July 24, 1971 they joined their union in marriage and raised five loving children who all adore her. She moved around several times before moving to South Florida in 1991 with her husband and 3 of their 5 children. Shortly after the remaining two joined them all. In 2004, she moved to Locust Grove, GA with her husband, Ralph. Connie was considered a very stubborn woman. However, she always put others before herself and felt that adage "cleanliness is next to Godliness" was a truth! Connie enjoyed cooking, almost to a fault. She made sure that everyone who entered her home would leave with a full belly. Another passion of Connie's was animals. The family often rescued animals and had numerous pets. Connie is survived by her loving husband, Ralph; her children, Rosemarie Morales, Christopher Armstrong, Anthony Gonzalez, Ralphie Gonzalez, Danielle Auchinleck, and Russell Martinez. She also leaves 9 grandchildren, Ralph Jr, Hannah, Victoria, Nicole, Matthew, Anthony, Alexa, Kaitlyn and Nicole to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Victor. Donations can be made to Connie's favorite charity, The Humane Society to help support her love for animals.
