Charles H. Reinhardt of 2200 South Ocean Lane, Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at his home. Charles H. Reinhardt was born on Friday, October 31, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY to Charles and Bernadette Reinhardt. On October 9, 1965 he married his wife of 49 years, Gilda M. Reinhardt, who survives. Charles was a graduate of St. John's University and St. John's Law School. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1966 to 1969 reaching the rank of Captain. Charles enjoyed scuba diving, running, reading, competition target shooting, and music. Along with his loving wife, Charles is survived by four children, Charles H. Reinhardt III, Joanne M. Quigley, Nicole K. Rater, and Jessica A. Reinhardt; and four grandchildren, Kristen M. Reinhardt, William C. Rater, Andrew E. Rater, and Michael L. Quigley. Visitation will take place from 2-5 P.M. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Savino-Weissman Funeral Home, 2950 N. State Road 7, Margate, FL. A wake service will take place at the funeral home at 4 P.M. on Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Saint Vincent Catholic Church, Margate, FL. Charles will be laid to rest later that day at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL. Donations may be made in memory of Charles H. Reinhardt to the Alzheimer's Association at .
