Carmen Micheli, 68, of Lauderhill, FL passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013. Carmen was born September 24, 1945 in Salcedo, Dominican Republic to Silvestre and Maria Quezada. When she was very young her family moved to the capital, Santo Domingo, where she lived for many years until she moved to New Jersey where she remained until 1988. She came to Florida to visit and fell in love with the state making South Florida the place where she wanted to live and sometime retire. Carmen worked as a seamstress for several years prior to her retirement in 2009. Her passion was to spend time with her family and connect with them as much as possible. She loved her daily walks and nature. She is survived by her daughter, Madeleine Ware of North Bergen, NJ and her son, Aldo Micheli of Pasadena, MD; and granddaughter, Mallory Ware. Carmen also leaves her siblings, Lourdes, Ramon, Cristina, Milagros, and Milita; and her nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. Carmen was preceded in death by her sibling, Virgilio.
