Carlos Alberto Rodgers, 58, husband of Sandra Rodgers, died December 4, 2019 at home in Coral Springs Fl. He was born August 23, 1961, the son of Ramon Eduardo Correa (deceased 2004) and Maria Elena Rodgers.

Carlos grew up in Medellin Colombia, he immigrated to NY at age 17, attended Jamaica HS, Queensborough College, graduated from NOVA university in which he obtained his Bachelors of Science degree (Sept 20th, 2007) and was in the process of completing the MBA program, his latest professional accomplishment was Project Management Professional certification (PMP) in 2010. He worked for American Express/IBM for 34 years as project manager.

Survived by Sandra, his wife for 36 years, Natalie his daughter, Brian his son (deceased Nov 17, 2005); His mother, Maria Elena; Four brothers, Ramon Eduardo of Medellin, Colombia, Ruben and wife Carol of Smith Town, NY, Gustavo and wife Digna of Saddle Brook, NJ, David and wife Luisa of New Hide Park, NY; Three sisters, Margarita and husband Gustavo of Queens Village, NY, Maria Inez and husband Fritz of Mineola NY, Cristina and husband Fernando of New Hide Park, NY, aunts, uncles, cousins, 19 nieces and nephews, and four great nieces and nephews; Mother-in Law Maria Ines, of Sunrise Fl, Sisters-in-law Myriam Buitrago Castro of Sunrise Fl, Emilia Moreno and husband William of Charlotte NC; Brothers-in-law Jorge Buitrago and significant other Gloria of Taylors SC, Orlando Buitrago and significant other Nidia of Margate, Fl, Erwin Buitrago and significant other Marcela of Bogota, Colombia, seven nieces and nephews, and seven great nieces and nephews .
