Betty Eckert, 85, passed away peacefully in Orlando in the early hours of Thanksgiving on November 24 th , 2022, surrounded by love. She is survived by her son Mark (Roseanne) Eckert, her grandson Jared Eckert, her sister Ramona Toney, her niece Lisa Hynes, and great-nephew Joey Spears and great-niece Shannon Hynes. She is predeceased by her children Scott Eckert and Donald Eckert and by her sister Joanne Payne and her brothers Herbert Frazier and Gerald Frazier.

Betty was born in Alexandria, Virginia on January 20 th , 1937 and moved to DC to live with her late uncle and aunt, Harry and Betty Conley, when she was still a teenager. She lived in Florida for 44 years where she worked as a bank loan representative until her retirement. Betty had a big heart and welcomed friends and relatives into her home whenever they needed a place to stay. She enjoyed decorating, fashion, painting and her cats and dogs.

Services will be held at Coral Springs Funeral Home on Saturday December 3 rd from 12-3pm located at 1420 N. University Dr., Coral Springs, FL 33071
