It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father Bechir Makoukdji, 93 years old, of Tamarac, FL, who passed away on September 6, 2022. He is survived by his loving Sons and Daughters, Eduardo, Omaira, Simon and Leila.

Bechir was born on August 22, 1929 in Syria. He moved with his Wife to Venezuela in mid 1950 where his four children were born. He owned a Hardware Store in Los Corales, Venezuela for many years and then retired to Sunrise, FL in 1981.

Bechir enjoyed listening to music, but had a passion for watching and playing soccer. He was the heart and soul of our family, loving and kind with the ability to make us laugh out loud on a daily basis. We love and miss him so very much, our hearts are broken.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 12:00 - 4:00 PM at Coral Springs Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will be held at 2:30PM. In lieu of Flowers Bechir's family requests that donations be made in his memory to St. Judes Children's Hospital. You can Donate [Here]
