Beatriz (Betty) Elvira Jacobs, 70, of Coral Springs, FL entered into eternal rest on January 30, 2022. She was survived by her Beloved Husband, Joseph Jacobs; her 4 treasured children, Veda Bynum and Husband Richard, Stephanie Cawley and Husband Chad, Jeffrey Jacobs, Jamie Jacobs; her 6 cherished grandchildren, Ashley Assa, Paige Assa, Katherine Bynum, Anthony Jacobs, Cole Cawley, Hope Bynum; and her dedicated sister Annette S. Diaz.

Betty was born in Santa Marta, Colombia in April of 1951 and emigrated to the US at the age of 6. She grew up in the state of New York, with her parents and 3 siblings until marrying in May of 1969. She spent the better part of her 52 years of marriage doing everything she could to provide a happy and full life for her husband and children. Later in her life, she moved to the state of Florida, where she pursued a successful career in nursing that fit her personality perfectly.

Betty not only kept her family close, but also made everyone else feel like part of it too. No one was a stranger to her. She was hard working, motherly and generous to all. She would give you the coat off her back if you needed it. Betty was the last to go to bed and the first to get up, always making sure that everybody else's needs were met before her own. She truly was one in a million and will always have a special place in our hearts.
