Obituary

Barbie Callewaert Ratliff, 33, of Margate, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. She was born in Cheboygan, Michigan on Wednesday, November 4, 1981.

Barbie worked as an H.R. Administrator for Kare Pharmacy. Her world revolved around her family, friends, and her large recovery community. She was a beautiful woman who dedicated her time to helping women in recovery. She was a spiritual being having human experiences, whose infectious spirit and sunny disposition brought much love and joy into the lives of many. Barbie was an amazing wife, super-mom, loving daughter, compassionate sister, granddaughter, niece, and caring friend who will be sorely missed.

Barbie loved Mackinac Island, Michigan, where she grew up. She enjoyed the beach, cooking, music, dancing, travel, and spending quality time with the love of her life--her husband Tre, and their young son Tyler; and having fun with her friends.

Barbie is survived by her husband, Tre, and their four-year-old son, Tyler; her parents, Amy Callewaert and Alexander Cassibo; her siblings Reese Callewaert, Brooke Callewaert, Cheyanne Cassibo, Catarina Callewaert; her maternal grandfather, Victor Callewaert; her aunts: Ann Parrish, Mary Callewaert, Angel Callewaert, and Jennifer Callewaert; her uncles: Todd Callewaert, Gregg Callewaert, Lee Parrish and Sean O'Dell; many nieces, nephews, co-workers; her best friend Nathalia Butcher, and countless friends. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Anjela Ratliff, her father-in-law Bob Ratliff, and her brother-in-law Robert Anthony Ratliff. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Rena Ryba Callewaert who passed away six years ago to the day.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wendesday, April 1, 2015, from 6-8 PM, at Coral Springs Funeral Home with a service starting at 7 PM with Chaplain Mike officiating. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the GoFundMe fund set up for little Tyler's future.
