Barbara Mary Slaughter, age 81, entered into rest on July 8, 2018, in Margate Florida.
Barbara is survived by Rochelle Hinkle (Chuck) of Winchester, VA; Rick Slaughter (Tina) of Coconut Creek, FL; Brenda Roland (Jack) of Tallahassee, FL; Ron (Dean) Slaughter (Mona) of Smyrna, TN; and Enzo, her beloved dog. Grandchildren are Jessica Long, Ray Cearing, Daniel Hinkle, Rachel Cearing, Richard Slaughter, Katie Slaughter, Jeff Hinkle, Michael Roland, and Michelle Roland. Great-Granchildren are Jordan Schactman, Ashlee Slaughter, Landon Hinkle, Amber Schactman, Kadence Cearing, Kalista Hinkle, Maddox Long, Omaree Slaughter, and Raegan Cearing.

Brothers James Stoutjesdyk of Jefferson, TX, and Jack Stoutjesdyk of Michigan (city unknown).

Barbara is proceeded in death by her Spouse, Richard D. Slaughter; Father, William VanderMale; Mother, Virginia VanderMale; and Sister, Virginia Ashman.

Barbara who was an avid sports fan will be buried in her Barry Sanders, Detroit Lions shirt and her grandchildren will be wearing her favorite sports teams shirts in her honor.

Viewing & Service is on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Savino-Weismann Funeral Home in Margate, Fl and the Interment will be Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 am at our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

A celebration of life will follow at Orioles Gardens II at 7700 NW 5th Court, Margate, FL 33063 from noon to 4:00 pm
