Barbara Ann Seifer Jenkins (74), of Coral Springs, Florida, passed away in her home on January 29, 2014. At the time of her death she was encircled by her wife Betty Dupont, daughter Terri Del Real, son-in-law Oscar Del Real, sister's Joan Seifer, Dolores Ricker, and brother Herman Seifer. Preceded in death by her grandson Joshua Curtis "Oscar" Jones, sister Helen "Dolly" Mich, brother Willard "Billy" Seifer, and her niece Kathy Haslebauer. Born Barbara Ann Seifer, July 1, 1939 in Paterson, New Jersey to Herman A. Seifer and Helen Boyle. Barbara known as "Bobbi" to those close to her honorably served in the United States Air Force from April 28, 1958 to June 30, 1960, and discharged as an Airman Second Class. Of Bobbi's passions traveling on sprawling cruise ships (43 cruises), visiting foreign ports-of-call and sampling exotic cultures exemplified her wisdom and sophistication. What she valued most and held precious was her family, not to mention a perfectly grilled filet mignon. As a self imposed computer geek she could maneuver her PC like a skillful surgeon, conquering email (aol), manipulating a web-browser, dabbling in high finance (eBay) and synchronizing transportation (FedEx and UPS). Her device of choice was the iPad, demolishing Angry Birds, outwitting Words With Friends and yes, out maneuvering Candy Crush. Occasionally Bobbi would indulge in her adult beverage of choice and summon her inner Ethel Merman or Patsy Cline would appear "walking after midnight" and croon a little "crazy". When the Florida sunshine was at twelve o'clock her inner Esther Williams would go for a dip in the family pool. Bobbi had a large voice, a large personality and an even larger heart. Bobbi's most memorable places of employment were the times she spent at Levitz Furniture and Realty Center Management. Her time at Levitz was here in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Bobbi eventually retired from Realty Center Management in 2003 after 18 years as a Property Manager in Sin City (Las Vegas) the last four in Pearland Texas. Bobbi left a legacy of singin', livin', laughin', and lovin'! Bobbi often said, "I have no regrets, I did it my way"! She will be loved and missed by many forever.
