Obituary

Artie was born in Brooklyn NY the first child of Alfred and Mary during the roaring 20's Artie was the oldest of 4 sons and is predeceased by his parents and brothers Alfred and James, surviving Brother Richard. Artie served in the Navy during WW II 1943 through 1945 aboard the USS Ticonderoga an Essex Class aircraft carrier as a 5" gunners mate. He fought in the Pacific in the battles of Leyte Gulf and the Battle for Japan. Artie married Marie his wife of 69 years on February 26, 1949. Artie is survived by his two children Deborah and Gregg and their sons Stephen, Arthur, Matthew and Christopher and Great Grand Children Giovanna and Siena, Daughter –in-law Maria and grand-daughter in-law Abbie.
