Antone E. Ross, born March 18, 1950 to the union of John Ross, Sr. and Edna James, in Gary, Indiana. Antone professed his love for Christ at the early age of 8 years old. He was always active as a Boy Scout and leader in his community. He attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School, Gary, Indiana where he and his team picture is proudly displayed in contribution to their State football championship. He also participated in high school track and baseball, winning numerous trophies, ribbons and honors. Antone was a proud alumnus of Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana. He majored in Engineering Science and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering. His continued educational accomplishments and certifications extend from Purdue University, Stanford University to Harvard University and in International Banking. Antone worked for a number of Fortune 500 Companies that moved him from Detroit to New York to Chicago and Atlanta. He worked for Hewlett Packard, Proctor & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Bell Howell, Micro Focus and others companies, always in corporate positions. One of his biggest accomplishments was in his recruitment to San Jose, California, now known as Silicon Valley. He was an integral part of the restructuring of Ma Bell Telephone companies into many baby bell companies - Pacific Bell, Illinois Bell, Bell South, etc...

Upon relocating to Florida 14 years ago with his family, he embarked on new international endeavors. While in Silicon Valley, Antone worked with many engineers and was instrumental in designing video games and circuitry. He was recognized time over time with honors of being the top salesman and computer engineer. Antone will be remembered as coining the title of "jack of all trades", and mastered them all!.. even the YoYo! Preceding Antone in his homecoming are his father, John Ross, Sr. of Gary, Indiana and his brother, John Ross, Jr. of San Jose, California. Antone Ernest Ross leaves to mourn his passing: a loving mother, Edna Hines of Katy, TX, Companion of 29 years, Dora Jones of Coral Springs (and all of her family & friends), his three daughters, Dawne Ross of Atlanta, GA, Allison Jones and Lauren Jones of Coral Springs, FL, two grand-daughters Myllie & Amaris, one son, Kendall Ross of Merced, CA, one sister, Aimbrell Shanks of San Jose, CA, GertheAl Shanks, special niece of San Jose, CA, Briana Ross of Pomona, CA, his four brothers: Gregory Hines of Texas, Eugene Hines of Baltimore, MD, Charles Hines of Gary, IN, and Melvin Hines of Houston, TX, and devoted sister-in-law, Annette Moore of St. Maarten. He is going to be deeply missed by countless relatives, friends, and colleagues around the world.
