Anthony A. Casciola, 80, of Coral Springs, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2015 surrounded by his family. Anthony was born on July 27, 1934 in L'Aquila, Italy to Giorgio and Concetta Casciola. His family immigrated to America in 1938, he was 4 years old. He was married to the "Love of her Life" Marlene for 56 years. They were together since they were 15 and 16 years of age. Anthony raised his family in Brooklyn, N.Y. and moved to Florida in June 1979. Anthony was a dedicated husband, father, father in-law and grandfather. He had a heart of gold and his family was the upmost important to him. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart, they were his world, he is now watching over them from heaven. Anthony truly will be missed.
Anthony is survived by his loving children, Laura (Ron) Lingwai, Christine Grimes, and Thomas Casciola; his grandchildren, Alexandra Grimes, Anthony Lingwai, Georgia Costigan; and his siblings, Victor Casciola and RoseMarie (Nat) DiGiorgio.
Friends may call on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. to 4: 00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:30 A.M. with entombment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
