Ann Favata, ever faithful, passed away at the age of 80 from natural causes with her devoted husband at her side.
Patricia Ann was born on March 17, 1943 in New York. Although she lost both of her parents at a young age, God graced her and her entire family with Nanny Feaster who loved her unconditionally and empowered her to become a confident, well assured woman.
Married to her true love, Frank Favata, for 55 years, the two shared their lives and raised their four children (Nicholas, Andrew, Tricia, and Christine) and "adopted" daughter (Laura). Their home was filled with love and Ann demonstrated the true gift of selflessness. Her children are grateful and honored to have her as their Mom.
Ann was eager to open up her home to friends and family to celebrate all of life's memorable moments. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, riding her bike, tending to her orchids and the wildlife in her backyard. What brought her the most joy was sending her Sunday morning beach reports, going to happy hour with her friends while sipping on her Pinot Grigio, watching her grandchildren participate in all of their various activities, and just "being" with her Frank.
Relationships were always near and dear to Ann. She was a loyal friend to many, a loving sister, a proud aunt, a devoted cousin, and a gracious Mother-in-Law. She lived those roles and wore those titles as a badge of honor. A doting Grandmother, her grandchildren (Colin, Vincent, Travis, Anna, Jerilyn, Bianca, and Isabella) were her pride and joy.
Ann was truly one of a kind and we will remember her with smiles and laughter.
A Funeral Mass honoring the life of Ann will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 12:00 pm on Friday, May 12, 2023.
