IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Andres Martin
Dillon
December 23, 1985 – November 25, 2018
Dillon-Castro, Andrés Martin
Andresito was born on December 23, 1985 to parents, Andrés Carmelo Dillon and Yvonne Aida Dillon in Lima, Peru.
In November 1987, Andresito became an older brother to Ricardo Dillon and ever since developed a sense of responsibility to become the best role model anyone would ever dream of, in which he achieved and surpassed every day.
In 1990, Andresito initiated Newton College, where he developed a passion for tennis and soccer. In 1998, he attended catholic school, Colegio La Inmaculada, from where he developed a love for Virgin Inmaculada Conception, which he felt protected by ever since. In the year 2000, Andresito moved with his family to McAllen, Texas and one year later would have to move again with his family to settle in Coral Springs, Florida. In 2004, Andresito graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
In 2009, "Dre", as he was known by friends, met Rachel McHugh, who would later in his life come back and become his girlfriend in August 2016, embracing him as his fiancée and forever love in March 2017.
Andresito granted his wings on November 25, 2018, at the age of 32 as our biggest and most persistent warrior after a long and difficult battle against Ewing Sarcoma cancer.
Andresito will forever be remembered as a loving son, brother, and partner who bonded with everyone and will forever be idolized by his comic, selfless, positive attitude and fighting spirit. Andresito possessed a competitiveness like no other and that no one could take from him. He never shied away from any sport, game or challenge while his persistence allowed him to endeavor victory at all costs. His biggest passion was playing tennis, which was later passed along to his close friends and family.
Andresito's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of his existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile and contagious laugh brought so much joy to his family and friends.
Andresito is survived by his parents Yvonne and Andres, his fiancée Rachel, brother Ricardo, and sister-in-law Samantha.
A celebration of Andrés' life will be held at 6 pm, on Thursday, November 29, at the Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N. University Drive, with Diacono Ricardo officiating.
Our family asks that you spend time with us not by saying goodbye to him but as a so long. Andresito would want to see us smiling, remembering him without pity, knowing that he's in peace enjoying his new life.
