Andres Hernandez, 92, of Coral Springs, Florida passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, November 30th, 1921 in Havana, Cuba to Evaristo Hernandez and Rosa Artigas. He met and married the love of his life, Migdalia in 1952 in Havana. Andres moved to Chicago in 1955 from Havana and worked for 21 years in Chicago as a painter for Bobbe and Company and retired in 1989 to be closer to Rosy. He was down to earth, loved music, went dancing all the time, enjoyed drawing and making things. Andres was true to his heritage and loved his familiy. He also enjoyed going on vacation, especially cruises and loved Max, the Rodriguez family dog. He was preceded in death by his wife, Migdalia in 2010 and sister, Rosa Gonzalez. He is survived by: Dario (Cecilia) Hernandez Willian Hernandez Rosemary (Jose) Rodriguez, Coral Springs, FL Richard (Anays) Hernandez grandchildren: Carlos Dario Hernandez, Vanessa Hernandez, Giselle Marie Rivera, Anthony William Paredes, and Christopher Michael Hernandez, Jose Andres Rodriguez, Michael Gabriel Rodriguez, and Jessica Rose Rodriguez, Andrew Richard Hernandez, Nicolas Richard Hernandez great grandchildren: Jocelyn Hernandez, Azreal Hernandez, Jacob William Albertson, Olivia Rivera nephew: Robert Gonzalez Visitation will take place at Savino Weissman Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. where a wake service will take place at 6:30 P.M. and will be officiated by Deacon Mario Lopez. Entombment will take place on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 10 A.M. at the Queen of Heaven Chapel also officiated by Deacon Mario Lopez. Please see below for event times and directions.
