Obituary - Allen Kincaid Walker

The only thing that would ever separate Allen Walker from his beloved wife, Eva, and their 7 beautiful children was his First Love … Jesus, who called him home on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the age of 45.  Allen was surrounded by family and friends after a 10 year battle with ALS.

Allen was a dedicated son, devoted husband, fun-loving and wise father, and a faithful friend to so many.  He passionately carried the Father's heart for the fatherless which was demonstrated in his and Eva's commitment to adoption and foster care, fostering over 40 children and adopting 5.

Born in Cobb County, Georgia, Allen graduated from Harrison High School in 1996 and Samford University in 2000.  He relocated to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and served for 18 years as the Family Ministry Pastor at The Harbour Church in Pompano Beach; taught American and World History for HEED as well as foster parent licensing classes for Place of Hope.

Allen's kindness and love for people impacted many lives over the course of his life and ministry, and it was his unyielding faith in God, while battling ALS, that was a beacon of strength and hope to all.  His family and friends take great comfort in the fact that Allen's final act of love in this life was as an organ donor, helping prolong the lives of others who have dealt with chronic illness.

Allen is survived by his wife Eva; seven children - Aaliyah, Isaiah, Ariana, Micah, Judah, Eliana and Luca; parents Teresa King and Joey Walker (DaVel); step-father David Vaughn; sister Kristin Walker Brooks (Aaron); stepbrothers Jarrad Vaughn (Olivia), Dillon Walker, Michael DiPietro, Matthew DiPietro; in-laws Frank and Gail Sciara, sister-in-law Bernadette Schultz (Dylan), brothers-in-law Chris Sciara (Alison) and Johnny Sciara (Rebecca) along with many nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by his step-mother Adele Walker.

A private graveside service will be held Friday, September 8th in Deerfield Beach, Florida.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at The Harbour Church located at 217 NE Second Street, Pompano Beach, FL  33060, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
