Alipio Jeri-Castilla, 86, from Margate passed away August 29th, 2016. He was married for 59 years to Maria Elena Wilden before becoming widowed. His life was dedicated to his work as a Hematologist. Although he retired 26 years ago, he still was available and continued to work on projects to improve lives, find cures, advance technology, publications, and public speaking. He began a clinical diagnostic hematology center in Peru dedicated to find and cure diseases. He also taught part-time at San Marcos School of Medicine. During his lifetime, he received multiple merits, honors, medals, distinctions, and awards.

His hobbies included tennis, travel, reading, and drawing. He is survived by his three daughters: Nadia (Eduardo Zarate) Jeri, Fanny (Gregory) Maimone, and Katia (Neil) Jeri.
