Alice L. Flynn, 76, of Margate, FL died on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born on September 1, 1937 in Manhattan, NY to Nicholas and Maryanne LePoulichet. Alice was an incredible woman that always wore a beautiful smile on her face and had a positive outlook on life, without regard for circumstance. She was also a charitable soul, giving to the likes of St. Jude Children's Hospital, numerous cancer foundations, Indian Reservations and she sponsored a child overseas for a number of years. Alice was very talented with her hands. She loved to garden and was an amazing artist, particularly with pencil and paint mediums. Alice also loved the outdoors would sit by the beach and get lost in a good book. One of Alice's other favorite past time's was traveling with her husband, Mike. She enjoyed spending time with her twin sister and conversing in French with pastries and coffee. Her children and grandchildren, however, were the main loves of her life. Alice is survived by her children, Karen (Gregory) Knopf, Denise (John) Ortiz, and Michael Flynn; her beloved grandchildren, Keefe, Brittany, Kory, Jonathan, Alicia, Kelly, and Victoria; and her twin sister, Anne Fitzgerald. Alice also leaves her brother and sister-in-law, John and Alice M. Beale, to cherish her memory. Alice was preceded by her husband, V. Albert "Mike" Flynn, Jr. in October of 2010 and her son V. Albert "Al" Flynn, III in September of 1999. Family and Friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Coral Springs Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at Noon, and Alice will laid to rest at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
