Alba Gloria Prendez, 72, of Coral Springs, FL entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 12th , 2026.

Alba Gloria is survived by her Children, Priscilla Perez & Luisalejandro Santana, grandchildren Victoria Julietta & MaxLiam Cordova, siblings Antonio, Jose & Silvana Prendez, and her father: Jose Antonio Prendez. She was preceded in death by her mother Maria Angelica Bado.

Gloria was born in 1954 on the 18th of May to Jose Antonio Prendez & Maria Angelica Bado. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, the eldest of four siblings, she immigrated with her family to Elizabeth, NJ. Spending her retired years in Coral Springs, FL.

She loved to cook, and owned a successful catering business, A.M Catering. Working mainly in Hillside, NJ, providing food for multiple Union-run factories, but also including, Benedictine Academy's cafeteria.

She welcomed her first born in 1986, Priscilla E. Perez and her son, Luis A. Santana, in 1998. She then welcomed her first granddaughter Victoria J. Cordova in 2016 and grandson, MaxLiam Cordova in 2012, who were the light of her life.

Gloria will be remembered for her contagious laugh, her passion for shopping and fashion, and her exceptional musical taste, which she has passed down to her children, nieces, and nephews. She will always be remembered in her cherry red convertible BMW, driving through Elizabeth Avenue with the top-down, music blasting and her infectious love of life. She was a fun-loving mother and aunt who was always up for an adventure, creating unforgettable memories with her children, nieces, and nephews. She was a strong, excellent mother, sister, daughter, and aunt, who will be deeply missed and remembered by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews, who will cherish her memory and remember her as the life of the party.
