Adam Max Fiorello, 22, of Parkland, FL passed away in the evening hours of Tuesday, March 8, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Adam was born on January 19, 1994 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, the second son to J. Michael and Heidi Fiorello.

Adam was raised in Parkland where he participated in the recreation programs of baseball, soccer, flag football, and he excelled at basketball. Adam graduated from Stoneman Douglas High in 2012 and continued his education at Tallahassee Community College where he was majoring in Economics. With basketball being his passion, he began coaching a 9U team for the Parkland Parks & Recreation department, which he did until weeks before his passing.

Adam was a stubborn young man with a sarcastic, yet witty, sense of humor. He would be content playing or watching any sport but always cheered for his Florida teams: Dolphins, Heat, Marlins, Panthers, and Seminoles. He loved country music, boating, fishing, golf and cars. He was also known for having champagne taste on a beer budget and a large appetite. Adam was fortunate to travel with his family enjoying the likes of Italy, the Caribbean, Outer Banks, Maine, and the New Jersey Coast.

In December of 2013, Adam was diagnosed with a rare cancer, Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. He began treatment at Sloan Kettering with a positive attitude and a mission to bring awareness to this disease. "Team Adam" was formed and numerous fundraisers have been held over the last 27 months to raise money for the cancer center. Adam had planned a fundraiser, Cycle for Survival, to be held Sunday, March 13, 2016, which will now be held in his memory.

Those left to cherish Adam's memory are his mother and her boyfriend, Heidi Fiorello and Corrado Collini; his father, J. Michael Fiorello; his beloved older brother, Nicholas Fiorello; and his paternal grandmother, B.J. Fiorello. Aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends too numerous to name will forever carry Adam in their hearts.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 P.M. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.
